something i think about often lately is the fact that i experience the like, inverse of the 'futch' (faggy butch) concept. i've seen people talk about that idea where some butches access their femininity through the sensibilities of gay men, and so it's not a straight woman's femininity or even a femme lesbian's femininity, but a fag's femininity. and i think i feel the same way about masculinity. like the masculinity i admire as a fag is not a straight man's masculinity or even a masc gay man's masculinity. it's the masculinity of butch dykes.
